Refund Policy for NovaBuyy

1. General Principles

  • Refunds are designed to give customers confidence in their purchases while maintaining fairness to all parties involved.
  • Refunds may be issued in the form of:
    • Original payment method (credit/debit card, digital wallet, etc.).
    • Store credit or gift voucher, depending on your preference and eligibility.
  • Products must typically be returned in their original, unused condition with tags, labels, packaging, and proof of purchase.

2. Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund:

  1. The item must be purchased directly from NovaBuyy. Items bought through third-party sellers, resellers, or marketplaces are not covered under this policy.
  2. The return request must be initiated within the designated return window (see Section 3).
  3. Products should not fall under our list of non-refundable items (see Section 7).
  4. Customers must provide a valid receipt, invoice, or order number to process the request.

3. Timeframe for Returns and Refunds

  • Standard Refund Window: Customers have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a refund.
  • Holiday & Promotional Periods: During special events such as holiday sales, we may extend the return period to 45 calendar days.
  • Late Requests: Requests made after the deadline may not qualify, unless exceptional circumstances apply (e.g., product defect or shipping error).

4. Refund Process

Here’s how the refund process works:

  1. Step 1 – Initiation:
    Contact NovaBuyy Customer Support via email (support@novabuyy.com) or through your account dashboard to initiate a return request.
  2. Step 2 – Approval:
    Our team will review the request. If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) along with instructions for returning the item.
  3. Step 3 – Shipping Back the Item:
    • Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
    • Clearly mark the RAN on the package.
    • Use the designated courier partner or a trusted shipping method with tracking.
  4. Step 4 – Inspection:
    Once received, our quality assurance team inspects the item to verify eligibility.
  5. Step 5 – Refund Issuance:
    If the return is approved, we process the refund within 7–14 business days. Refund times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

5. Types of Refunds

a. Full Refunds

  • Issued when the product is defective, damaged upon arrival, or the wrong item was shipped.
  • Also applicable when a cancellation request is made before the product has been dispatched.

b. Partial Refunds

  • May apply when only part of an order is returned.
  • May apply if an item shows minor signs of use but remains in resellable condition.

c. Store Credit Refunds

  • Customers may choose store credit as an alternative to cash refunds.
  • Store credit is issued instantly once the return is approved and can be used on any NovaBuyy product.

6. Exchanges

  • Customers may request an exchange instead of a refund.
  • Exchanges are subject to product availability.
  • If the desired item is out of stock, we will issue a full refund or store credit.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for returns or refunds:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, beverages).
  • Personal care items (e.g., cosmetics, skincare, hygiene products) if opened.
  • Digital downloads, gift cards, or subscription services.
  • Clearance or “Final Sale” items clearly marked as non-refundable.
  • Customized or personalized products made specifically for you.

8. Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Refundable Shipping: If the return is due to NovaBuyy’s error (e.g., wrong or defective product), we cover all shipping expenses.
  • Non-Refundable Shipping Fees: Original shipping costs paid at checkout are generally non-refundable.

9. Order Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund, provided they haven’t yet shipped.
  • Once an order is dispatched, the standard return process applies.

10. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product:

  1. Contact us immediately (within 7 calendar days) with photographs and order details.
  2. We will investigate and, if verified, offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund.
